Sunflower seed oil is extracted from the seed of sunflower. It is odorless oil, which benefits its use in fragrance, aromatherapy and massage oil products. A light textured, golden oil rich in vitamins and nutrients, Sunflower Seed Oil contains linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid which clinical studies have shown is ideal for healing damaged skin and replacing the natural lipids that damaged skin lacks. The presence of linoleic acid allows the skin to retain moisture and is imperative for proper skin barrier function.

Because sunflower oil is high in essential fatty acids. It helps to moisturize, regenerate and condition the skin. Sunflower oil can be used as the primary oil within lotion, salt scrub, bath oil and massage oil formulations. It is especially useful in formulations intended for mature, sensitive, dry or damaged skin.

Sunflower seed oil is an excellent emollient and extremely stable which creates stable lather in soap.

Sunflower Seed oil is an inexpensive substitute for olive oil. High in vitamin E, it is moisturizing and deposits a protective layer that holds in moisture.
